Easter Embarrassment.

This year's Easter was lovely-a day to glorify the risen Savior and praise Him that he is ALIVE! As we worshiped, God reminded me of all the blessings he has brought into my life. It's always humbling to remember that "every good and perfect gift is from above."

I really couldn't be any more thankful for this being the first Easter I've spent with Greg. He truly is my better half. No questions asked.

At my parent's house after lunch, my dad was outfitting me with new clips for my cycling shoes. I'm borrowing my mom's bike for the triathlon, and of course I had to try it out with my new shoes.

So, needless to say, this wasn't the most lady-like thing in the world. And, Greg pulled out my camera in order to document my vagabond-ness.

Some of the 1st graders I taught in Sunday School commented on how I must have mistakenly dyed my legs instead of eggs for Easter. You know your outfit has gone south when first graders are making jokes about it...live and learn, I guess!

Thank you, mama for lending me your beloved bike! And, a huge hug goes to my dad who is my own triathlon coach and encourager. Greg, thanks for these, uhm, memorable photos (and for putting up with my crazy ideas of fun, like doing a triathlon together).

Happy Monday (hopefully your Easter was not equally as embarrassing)!
