It was a warm summer day as Whitney and Hunter Mac stepped onto the deck of the sailboat. With a bottle of Veuve Clicquot in hand, they were ready to toast an afternoon on Lake Michigan. The captain showed them the most beautiful view of the Chicago skyline on their sail.

Summer evenings? Yes. Sand between your toes? Yes. Slow dancing with your fiancé? Yes. I’m so grateful to have captured this evening for Kaitlynn and Daniel as they enjoyed Lake Michigan. Their gorgeous outfits complemented the natural tones of the surroundings.

I love when things come full circle. And that’s exactly what happened when Molly put on her wedding gown that had once belonged to her mother. Not only did Molly wear her mother’s dress, but the dress was also made by her grandmother.

Covid threw a wrench in so many plans. Including the plan Hannah & Eric had to get married in 2020. Add to that the fact that they’re both doctors and their lives became even more interesting. Throughout 2020, they faced many challenges from losing loved ones to long hours at work to completely turning their expectations for their wedding day on their head.

We made our way to the Brooklyn Bridge at sunrise and the golden light poured across this iconic bridge being outshone only by these two. Being able to be there first thing in the morning meant we were there before the city was awake and we had the walkway to ourselves.
